When we talk about Smartphones, we get reminded of brands like iPhone, OnePlus, Oppo, Vivo, Xiaomi. But these days, iQOO has become the emerging smartphone brand in the Chinese smartphone market and is rolling into the Indian smartphone industry too. Now, iQOO Neo 5 Lite 5G is launched in the Chinese smartphone market as the brand-new budget smartphone by its manufacturers.
The phone is running on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC processor with a triple rear camera arrangement. The phone has a 48-megapixel rear main camera and is launched with two colour variants. The iQOO Neo 5 Lite is the optimised edition of the iQOO Neo 5 that was introduced earlier, which has a different processor and camera. The iQOO Neo 5 Lite holds a battery of 4500mAh. It does have support for 44W flash charging with a display of a 144 Hz refresh rate.
Talking about the price, The new iQOO Neo 5 Lite costs 2,299 RMB on converting to INR it would be around Rs. 26,000 for the 8GB RAM + 128GB variant as well as 2,499 RMB on converting to INR it would cost something around Rs. 28,300 for the 8GB RAM + 256GB variant and 2,699 on converting to INR would be around Rs. 30,600 for the 12GB RAM + 256GB variant. It’s a quite budget-friendly smartphone. If we look for colour options, the phone emerges in Polar Night Black and Ice Peak White variants. This handset is now all set to receive pre-orders in the Chinese online store.
The iQOO Neo 5 Lite 5G runs on OriginOS based Android 11. It has a 6.57-inch full-HD+ i.e., 1,080×2,408 pixels LCD display and has a 20:9 aspect ratio. The display has a refresh rate of 144Hz and a screen-to-body ratio of 90.4%. Talking of the processor, the phone runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 with 12GB of RAM and has a storage facility of 256GB storage.
If we come to the cameras, the iQOO Neo 5 Lite 5G is based on a triple rear camera arrangement i.e, 48-megapixel for the primary camera with aperture f/1.79, an 8-megapixel for the ultra-wide camera which provides a 120-degrees view, and a 2-megapixel for the macro camera which is of 4cm focal length. For the forefront, they have provided a 16-megapixel for selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture which is inside the hole-punch cut out placed on the top right corner of the display.
