The iPhone is a line of touchscreen-based smartphones designed and marketed by Apple Inc. Apple releases new iPhone in the month of September, every year. Although this year due to the current pandemic situation, have resulted in manufacturing delays. As a result, iPhone 12 might debut in the month of October. Earlier, a tipster has claimed that there can be a total of four new iPhone models, base iPhone 12 and 12 Max, 12 Pro and 12 Pro Max.

Starting with the battery capacity of iPhone 12, it can be a deal-breaker. In a new video by hugely popular YouTuber Filip Koroy (aka EverythingApplePro) has said that Apple might degrade battery capacities of iPhone 12. A 5G phone with less battery capacity. Is it possible? Knowing that 5G phones need greater battery capacity, as it consumes more battery. The battery capacity of the phone is going to be 2,227 mAh of iPhone 12, 2,775 mAh of 12 Max, 2,815 mAh of 12 Pro and 3,687 mAh of 12 Pro Max.
So now, what is the real reason or motive behind this drastic step? Apple is going to build a new smart battery case which has no lightning connector and only charges wirelessly. This can become a potential reason for the transition of iPhone owners towards a wireless, port-less iPhone. Apple has also been in the news for removing chargers from this year’s iPhones. Well, this can be considered a smart marketing strategy.
Other Specifications:
The iPhone 12 series will be powered by the Apple A14 Bionic chip. The A14 is said to be one of Apple’s biggest performance leaps in several generations. It is particularly good for multitasking and has good power efficiency. So, A14 might cover up the phone’s less battery capacity. It can come with a 5.4-inch Super Retina OLED display which is made by China’s BOE. The device will have an aluminium body. It is rumoured to come with a notch on the top of the display. The phone also comes with TouchID to unlock the device.
The base iPhone 12 will be offered in two options:
- 4GB + 128GB which will be priced at ₹ 48,900 (compare to iPhone 11)
- 4GB + 256GB which will be priced at ₹ 56,400
The price of iPhone 12 is much less than what is expected from the company. Will this be a game changer move? With so many surprising changes, this phone is worth waiting for October Launch.
