Intel introduced two new 11th Gen 5GHz processors that support 5G modems for laptops

Intel announced a number of updates on the first day of Computex 2021. But, the most important & interesting update of remains so far is Intel’s upcoming 5G modem for PCs & Laptop and two new 11th Gen processors – Intel Core i7-1195G7 and Intel Core i5-1155G7.

This upcoming 5G modem will be called Intel 5G solution 5000. This came as an upshot of MediaTek & Fibocom joint effort (as per their foregoing collaboration). While MediaTek will be responsible for Intel’s product design, development, authentication & support, Fibocom will handle the command of providing 5G solutions.

The “Intel 5G Solution 5000″ is the first-ever 5G solution provided with world-wide carrier certification” as said by the company, Intel.

With this upcoming 5G module, Intel is offering a network that will work 5 times faster than Intel Gigabit LTE from any possible corner. Along with this, Intel announced two new 11th gen iCore Processors- Intel Core i7-1195G7 and Intel Core i5-1155G7, newest to add in its U-series processors. These two processors are the most powerful & robust processor, that comes with amazing specifications in hand.

As the company, Intel said “Intel Core i7-1195G7 and Intel Core i5-1155G7” are specially designed & expressed for thin-&-light Windows operated laptops.

Moving on to their specifications, the former processor Core i7-1195G7 amongst the two, features single-core turbo speed of up to 5GHz; while the latter one i.e., Core i5-1155G7 will speed up to 4.5GHz.

Other features of latest Intel processors include Intel Iris Xe graphics and for friction-less connectivity it packs Intel Wi-Fi 6/6E (Gig+). They also feature ISV optimization, which will speed transcoding up to 8 times & video editing to twice as it was before.

And this doesn’t end here only, because Intel also announced to be preparing for more 60 new designs, solely based on the Intel Core i7-1195G7 and the Intel Core i5-1155G7. So, we can expect to see revamped design of laptops from ASUS, Lenovo, Acer & few more. On top of this, the company announced that around 30 designs based on the Intel 5G Solution 5000, will come into the light by next year.
