Instagram has finally revealed in an official statement that its ‘Insights’ feature will be available now for Reels and Live sessions as well apart from its availability for story, post and IGTV videos. The company wrote on its official Twitter handle – ‘Excited to introduce Insights for Reels, Live and Reach to help creators and businesses better understand how your content is doing.’ This feature gives the performance status with details about accounts reached, plays, likes, comments, saves and shares.
The Facebook owned company has also introduced ‘Reach’ option for Insights tool which according to the company will “give a breakdown of which types of accounts you’re reaching and which content formats are the most effective at driving reach”, which will help creators to understand the dynamics behind this tool which will in turn enable them to work towards creating more efficient and interesting content. The ‘Reach’ section further divides the accounts interacting with a user’s content into followers and non-followers to give the creator a better insight about their content’s performance.
Instagram in a blog said, “We will also be including these metrics in Account Insights to provide a broader picture into how Reels and Live shape an account’s performance.” This data analytic tool will show accounts reached, peak concurrent viewers, comments and shares for Live videos and will help creators to analyze the bigger picture of the performance of their account’s content on the social networking platform.
As per reports, Instagram has also decided to introduce its new preset time frame options in the Insights tool in the upcoming future which will help the users to filter out the data in ways other than seeing just numbers for the past 7 or 30 days. Also it is speculated that the company will enable this new Insights tool on desktop view as well.
