Huawei has officially announced Huawei MateBook X in China. The company also unveiled Huawei MateBook Pro X in February this year. Huawei MateBook X laptop will come with a slightly altered design and upgraded touchpad. In addition, it is going to be company’s new premium and lightweight laptop.
Huawei MateBook X Specifications:
The Huawei MateBook X can be equipped with up to a 10th Generation Intel Core i7-10510U CPU and also with Intel UHD Graphics. It comes with up to 16GB of LPDDR3 RAM clocked at 2,133MHz. In addition, the device will come with 512 GB of storage. It has a Magnesium aluminum alloy body that gives the laptop a premium feel.
Further, the device has an Island-style keyboard and a pressure sensitive multi-touch trackpad. The trackpad extends to the edge of the chassis. It also has an integrated NFC reader for multi-screen collaboration. It also features a sleeker and more lightweight form factor.
The device will come with Windows 10 Home Edition. It has a 13-inch IPS panel with 3,000 x 2,000 pixels screen resolution. In addition, it has a 278 PPI screen and a contrast ratio of 1,500:1. The screen to body ratio is 90 percent, and it has a 3:2 aspect ratio. The display also has a touchscreen layer. This will support 10-point multi-touch. Further, it supports peak brightness of 400 nits. Also, it ensures 100 percent coverage of the sRGB colour gamut. It measures 284.4×206.7×13.6mm and weighs just over 1kg.
Huawei MateBookX will have a 42Wh battery. Huawei MateBook Pro X has a 56Wh battery. The connectivity options include two USB Type-C ports, a 3.5mm headphone jack, dual-band Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth v5.0. It will also come with four speakers and two microphones. Also, the device will have Huawei Share feature. This will allow Huawei phone owners to “clone” their phones on the laptop. They can do this by simply placing it on the track pad.

As for now, the Huawei MateBookX is available for pre-order via Vmall. The sale will start from August 24. Although, international availability for the Huawei MateBookX is unknown.
