The Chinese multinational technology firm, Huawei is preparing to unveil its brand new Band 6 fitness tracker in India. The Huawei Band 6 is being launched as the successor of the Huawei Band 5. Band six will be supported on phones running on Android 6.0 or above and iOS 9.0 or above. Earlier this year, the smart fitness band was introduced in Malaysia. Exposing important information, characteristics, and pricing the smartwatch has been published on the e-commerce giant Amazon’s website prior to its launch. However, the corporation has not confirmed the official launch date yet.
In terms of specifications and features, the Huawei Band 6 is supposed to feature a 148 percent bigger screen than that of Huawei Band 4. The smartwatch has a 1.47-inch AMOLED Full-View (194×368 pixels) color display with a screen-to-body ratio of 64 percent and a pixel density of 282 pixels per inch. The silicon straps of the wearable are UV-treated and skin-friendly. The device also supports a 5ATM rating which means it is dust and water-resistant.
Users may track their heart rate by TruSeen 4.0 24×7 heart rate monitor featured on the band. The device can also be used to monitor SpO2 (blood oxygen saturation), sleep, and stress level by Trusleep 2.0 sleep monitoring and Trurelaxe stress monitoring app respectively. In addition, the wristband also has a feature for women’s health tracking i.e menstrual cycle tracking. There are 96 exercise options including swimming, running, and treadmill are supported on the Huawei Band 6.
With normal use, the Band 6 may last up to two weeks, and with severe use, it can last up to ten days. According to Huawei, a 5-minute charge may provide up to two days of battery life. For connectivity, the wristband uses Bluetooth v5. Graphite Black, Forest Green, Sakura Pink, and Amber Sunrise are the color options in which the watch will mark its entry into the Indian market. As claimed by the giant shopping website Huawei band 6 is expected to be priced at Rs. 4,490.
