Honor, the leading global provider of smart devices, will soon add a new flagship smartphone series that will include Honor 50 and Honor 50 Pro+ in coming June! The company shared this information via their official Twitter account, which also mentioned that the new smartphone series Honor 50 will be powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 778 5G chipset.
Even so, the company has not shared any further details regarding their latest smartphone series, but the key specifications of the upcoming smartphone have already leaked online long before the company even announced it.
As per the leaks, the series is expected to feature two models i.e., Honor 50 & Honor 50 Pro+. Earlier the rumours presumed that two models will bear the Snapdragon 870 & Snapdragon 888 chipset: but earlier on Friday, company cleared the Honor 50 series will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 778 5G chipset.
However, some still have it that Honor 50 might come with a Snapdragon 778 chipset & while its pro version might get a Snapdragon 888 chipset.
Moving on to other features, the leaked images of Honor 50 renders, it will feature a 6.9-inch AMOLED 2K display, with exclusive 120 Hz screen refresh rate! This promises a smooth video experience.
This series will present a triple-rear camera, with the single camera in the upper ring & two more cameras in the lower ring (acc. to the leaked images.)
The rear-triple camera includes a 50 MP Primary sensor, 13 MP Ultra-wide angled sensor, an 8MP telephoto-shooter sensor with ToF with LED Flashlight on the left. And, it will feature a dual-selfie camera with 32MP + 8MP sensors.
At present, these are the only details which have been exposed so far. But, as the company Honor announced, this smartphone series will hit the market in coming June: so we expect more details will be revealed soon!
