Google Pixel 5 spotted on AI benchmark with Snapdragon 765G SoC
Google’s next phone, the Pixel 5 has been spotted on the AI benchmark revealing the processor which will be powering the device. Many tipsters have speculated that the phone will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G and from the recent leaks it has been confirmed that the same chipset will be in the Google Pixel 5. This information comes from the AI benchmark revealing the processor details. The details from AI benchmark also reveal that the SoC will be paired with 8gb of RAM.
The phone will be running on Android 11 and Google’s stock android UI which is very much obvious. The Google Pixel 5 is not going to come with a flagship level chipset inside it, this is because google has shifted its concentration on it’s camera as the phone goes by the name “Best camera phone ever.”
They want the camera to be the best of all but they don’t want the price to be too high. So they will be cutting down in terms of performance of the device. The Snapdragon 765G SoC along with 8gb RAM is not so powerful enough and with the stock android the Device will be smooth. This is the same chipset used in the OnePlus Nord which is pretty good for heavy work.
In the previous version of Pixel, the pixel 4 and pixel 4 XL they used Snapdragon 855 chipset, in the AI benchmark tests all the three pixel phones have scored almost the same with the Pixel 5 scoring 39.4 and the other two scoring 39.6 and 39.5, respectively.
From other leaks, rumours and expectations of users the device will have the wireless charging feature along with reverse charging to wirelessly charge Qi enabled devices. The design will be pretty much the same, a punch hole notch display and a square dual camera setup on the back. Google is yet to announce more features about the Pixel 5 very soon.
When the Pixel 4a was released, Google also gave a little information about the 5G variant of Pixel 4a and the upcoming Pixel 5. There might also be a bigger XL variant of Pixel 5 differing mainly in the size. The pixel 4a and pixel 5 will be available in the US, Canada, the UK, Ireland, France, Germany, Japan, Taiwan and Australia and available for pre-order from October 8th. The prices will be around $700 , so you will be able to get a premium phone at a lesser price.
The Pixel 5 will not be coming to Indian market, like the Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL which is well known by everyone but sadly even the 5g variant of Pixel 4a won’t make it’s way either. The Pixel 4a 4G Variant will be arriving in India by October bearing a price tag of around Rs.26,000.
