Google has launched the most awaited pixel 4a today. Phones by google in the ‘a’ series are meant to be budget friendly. Many were waiting for this phone who wanted the best quality features for a less price. Basically Pixel phones are known for their camera quality. The quality is more or the same as the flagship phones.
The pixel 4a is clean and simple. There is only one size, one color, one spec released by google. It has a poly-carbonate body and a Corning Gorilla glass 3 cover glass.
We all know that the OnePlus Nord is going on sale tomorrow and Google dropped pixel 4a suddenly today, they want to make all the budget phone buyers get a pixel and not Nord. So let us take a look at the specs and features and you will be able to compare with the OnePlus Nord by yourselves.
Camera:
The rear camera features a 12.2mp dual, pixel 1.4μm pixel width, Auto-focus with dual-pixel phase detection, Optical + electronic image stabilization with a f/1.7 aperture and a 77° field of view. It can record videos of quality

Performance:
Google Pixel 4a runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 730 with a 2.2 GHz + 1.8 GHz, 64-bit Octa-Core and a Adreno 618 GPU with Titan M security module. This is paired with a 6 GB LPDDR4x RAM and a 128 GB storage. The device does not support 5G network. Leaks suggest that google will be releasing another variant of the Device by the name Pixel 4a 5G.
Display:
The pixel 4a features a full screen punch hole notch display of 5.81” FHD+ (1080×2340) OLED display and a 19.5:9 aspect ratio. It also has support for HDR. There is no high refresh rate, it has the 60hz refresh rate like before.
The phone has a fingerprint sensor on the back, the same as the pixel 3a. An in-display fingerprint scanner might be better on the phone like the OnePlus Nord. Google did this to cut down the price much more. It has the stereo speakers, two microphones but output of these are not satisfying. Apart from this the Device has a 3.5mm audio jack on it.
Battery, Color and Price:
The battery in the pixel 4a has a 3140mAh battery capacity and a support to 18W USB-C fast charging. The one color that is released is ‘just black’.
The price will be $349 which will be around Rs. 26,000. Well the phone does good enough with simple features, that is what we can expect from google at this price. People who want the best in quality camera and love stock android can go with the phone without any hesitation.
While those who care about almost everything, then they have to think about the OnePlus Nord or iPhone SE(2020). The phone is available for pre-order in the Amazon USA and will be available as soon as October in India. Google will announce the price of Pixel 4a for India in October during launch.
