Gionee K3 Pro launched with Triple Rear cameras: Specifications & price
Gionee Max has just launched in India today. Its specifications as discussed earlier are fairly good for a phone in Rs 6000. The Gionee Max had a 5000mAh battery, 6.1-inch screen with a screen-to-body ratio of 80%. Along with this, the company launched another model in its home country, China. The Gionee K3 Pro has been announced in China. After the long break, the company launching two of its phones just points to the fact that “GIONEE STRIKES AGAIN!”
Display
Starting off with the display, the Gionee K3 Pro features a large 6.53-inch HD+ display. It has a better screen-to-body ratio than the Gionee Max, I.e., 90%. The phone looks neat when seen from the front. Although a bit old school yet it is a value-for-money.
Processor and Software
The Gionee K3 Pro would be powered by the MediaTek Helio P60. It would be clocking at a speed of 2GHz. This processor is paired up with a large 8GB RAM and 128GB ROM. One trend that has been seen in the phones that are released lately. It can be seen that no matter what the price is, the RAM that these phones provide is pretty large and good compared to the old models which used to have 2-3GB of RAM only.
The software on the other hand brings a sense of disappointment. Unlike the other new phones, the Gionee K3 Pro would run on Android 9. The reason is pretty unclear as the model releasing in India would be featuring Android 10.
Camera
The Gionee K3 Pro has a triple rear camera setup. Its primary camera is 16-megapixel. The details regarding the other two lenses are unclear as for now. But it would obviously be the normal Depth camera sensor and a macro sensor. The front camera on the phone would have a 13-megapixel selfie shooter with f/2.0 aperture. The phone would feature a rain-drop design on which the camera lens would be placed.
Connectivity and other features.
The fingerprint scanner on this phone would be placed at the back. The smartphone would house a 4,000mAh battery. The battery would not feature Quick Charge so this is another set-back for the phone. The phone would feature the usual 3.5mm audio jack, USB Type-C port, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, and GPS.
Gionee K3 Pro is another budget phone by Gionee. It would be priced at CNY 699, I.e., Rs.7,500. It is quite unlikely to launch in the rest of the world. Even if it does, it would surely not stand with its competitors. Also, when people can buy Gionee Max which features comparatively better features, why would they buy this?
