On June 25, 2021, i.e. today US-based smart wearable company “Garmin” introduced its new range of smartwatches namely Forerunner 55 which includes easy to use in-built GPS feature. The developers have made the gadget beginner-friendly for keeping track of data and pursuing fitness goals. The device allows users to track their time, distance, speed, pace, and heart rate statistics immediately from their wrist.
This smart gadget is available in both online and offline stores with three color options- black, aqua, and monterra grey. This western gadget weighs 37 grams and features an attractively stylish design. It also includes PacePro and Cadence alerts as its features so that runners can focus on their running and training foundations and progress to the next level. The firm has launched this all-new smart gadget at a price of Rs. 20,990.
“The introduction of the new Forerunner 55 adds another feather to it. The smartwatch is well equipped with features like built-in GPS, heart rate monitoring, race predictor, women’s health tracking and a lot more to help the users in improving their lifestyle and overall wellbeing,” said Ali Rizvi, Director of Garmin, India.
As per the director’s statement, this Garmin smart wearable features a Garmin connect app that can be used by women to track their menstrual cycle or pregnancy, register symptoms, get exercise and nutrition advice, and much more. Athletes may use the device’s body battery energy monitor to check the energy levels and determine the optimal times for activity and rest.
The Garmin Forerunner 55 also possesses personalized daily training recommendations, running modes, and improved health monitoring to help users improve their performance. In terms of battery, the wearable has two modes- in GPS mode, the Forerunner 55 can last up to 20 hours, and in smartwatch mode, it can last up to two weeks.
