Some time ago Samsung’s new smartwatch Galaxy Watch 4 was spotted on FCC certification listing. Now, the Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 support page has gone live on Samsung’s official website in India, Russia, and The Caribbean Region, initially reported by MySmartPrice. The wristwatch is listed with model numbers SM-R890 and SM-R880 on Samsung’s official websites of India and Russia. The above-mentioned listing points towards the release of the Galaxy Watch 4 soon.
According to some sources, Samsung is supposed to unveil its brand new product at the Samsung Unpacked August 2021 event or might introduce it in MWC 2021 event. Black, dark green, rose gold, and silver are the color options in which the Galaxy Watch 4 is expected to be available in the market. As reports claim, these future wristwatches would be on sale in two different sizes: 42mm and 46mm. The device is expected to be available at a price of Rs. 40,299 in India. Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 is also reported to have a 5ATM water-resistant rating. Samsung’s upcoming smartwatch has a configuration of 1GB RAM + 8GB internal storage.
For connectivity, this water-resistant gadget is supposed to feature Bluetooth, NFC, 2.4Ghz/ 5GHz Wi-fi, and different LTE bands. Unlike other smartwatches from Samsung, this future wristwatch model is expected to run on Android instead of TizenOS. The gadget features MIL-STD 810G durability and Gorilla Glass DX+ protection. The size of the screen of this smartwatch is 1.2-inch. The Galaxy Watch 4 might house a battery of 240 mAh and the device will feature a wireless charging mode, as revealed by the Safety Korea listing. The device is also expected to feature a BIA (bioelectrical impedance analysis) sensor. This Korean wristwatch is compatible with both Android and iOS.
Other than tracking user’s steps count, speed, and distance the gadget can also check on their sleep quality, heart rate, calorie intake burn, and active minutes. One may also use it for setting alarm clock timer, reminder, and much more.
