Google announced the new development of Google Assistant driving mode, last year. The tech giant Google announced this at google I/O event. Now it’s been reported that driving mode is on maps. The Driving mode helps users to have direct access to the voice-forward dashboard, but this access is not yet unable.
If the phone is connected to the car’s Bluetooth or if we just say ‘Hey Google, let’s drive’ then the DrivingMode would activate on Assistant. Google said apart from diving mode activation on Google, it also has the ability to control their cars remotely.
Mashable quoted at XDA developers that the new driving mode features on android devices is going to act as a better replacement for all the auto apps available for android smartphones. Links to the feature were first spotted two weeks ago, as part of a new navigation user interference in the Google maps.
The new setting page has also been discovered that confirms that the new UI is part of Google Assistant’s driving mode. The report has also shared screenshots that further prove that driving mode is being rolled out. In the Google Assistant settings of Google maps, now there will be a description manage driving mode and if we click on that then a driving mode setting page for Google Assistant would be seen.
It’s not clear whether the rollout of this new mode is part of a test or will be coming for all users. Mishaal Rahman at XDA said he saw the new driving mode on a Google Pixel 4,Asus ZenFone 7 Pro, and LG Velvet.
