Everything you need to know about the new Sony WF-1000XM3 wireless earbuds

Everyone loves music! Now imagine you are listening to your favorite track but the uproarious surrounding doesn’t let you enjoy properly, IRRITATING, isn’t it? So here is the news of a highly anticipated earbuds launch. Yes, we are talking about the new Sony WF-1000XM3 wireless earbuds. Sony has already launched WF-SP800N and WF-XB700 earbuds and this one belongs to the same territory. But trust me this could be really a masterpiece as Sony has put Active Noise Cancellation in these buds.

Now the question comes, is it really a dream wireless headphone or another ordinary no-go device? Well, to kick off your confusion we have written down its specifications. Read them and decide yourself:

What all you get the moment you unbox these Sony earbuds?

You get really excited when you unbox whatever gorgeous device you buy, don’t you? But sometimes it leaves you disappointed as you don’t get what you expect. Let me explain what you get inside the Sony WF-1000XM3 box. The first thing you get is a charging cable, then USB C type (this is a short one) and six different pairs of earpads selection. The types of buds you will get are hybrid-silicon buds and triple-comfort buds, mind-blowing! Talking about the case, this one is an attractive chargeable case with a copper lid and the two earbuds fit securely inside with magnets.

The design of Earbuds

Although these earbuds are not much bigger at the same time they definitely don’t look like awkward tiny earbuds, so we can say they are of perfect size. You will feel a really smooth plastic in the outer section of these earbuds. Also, they have a smooth and glossy circular patch on the surface which is touch-sensitive.

How to connect the Earbuds

Connecting the earbuds is such a piece of cake. You don’t have to do anything, just put them out of the case and boom! They are connected. Whenever you will take out the buds you will hear a voice confirming that your earbuds are successfully connected and also you will get to know the battery percentage. You can connect these earbuds with up to eight devices. Whenever you want to connect them to a new device, just put them out and hold the touchpads with your index fingers for 7 seconds. Now you will hear the voice saying your earbuds are ready to connect, you can select from the list of devices.

Functionality of Touchpads

You cannot miss this part. Basically the touchpads work in three modes. Also, remember only the left earbud controls the change. So with the first tap, you activate the standard mode. With the second tap, you activate the Ambient Mode and you activate this mode when you need to be aware of surrounding noises. With three taps you activate the Noise Cancelling mode (this one is AMAZING). After activating this mode it’s just YOU and YOUR MUSIC, nothing else matters!  The right pad works too, it is used for the playback control and to communicate with virtual assistants (Siri or Google Assistant).

Another amazing part is, whenever you take out the earbud from your ear it automatically gets paused and when you take back in, it resumes. This is not it, you can also answer the calls with just a touch. The music sound quality is good but when it comes to calling quality, we cannot say it’s extraordinary.

Battery Life

The battery life of Sony WF-1000XM3 is quite interesting. They say you can use these earbuds for 6 hours straight after a single charge and if you are not using noise cancellation mode, it will last for 8 hours. Also, with the charging case, you will get a battery life of 30 hours. A quick 10 minutes charge gives you 90 minutes of enjoyment, this is absolutely a fair deal.

The Sony WF-1000XM3 wireless earbuds will cost you Rs 19,990 (check) and if you buy it within 10 days (starting from August 6), it will cost you 17,990. (Check)
