Audio Brand, Boat has launched Boat Airdopes 131 in India. It is a new affordable true wireless earphone. The earbuds will bring Bluetooth 5.0 technology for wireless connectivity and also voice-assistant support. Further they will come in a portable charging case that can be carried easily. The company launched Airdopes 121 this month. It also launched Airdopes 171, another budget friendly TWS.
Specifications and Features:
The Boat Airdopes 131 are built with a sleek and premium design with an ergonomic and comfortable fit. It has 13mm dynamic drivers and an outer-ear fit. The audio drivers will make the earbuds loud enough. Also, it is a huge audio driver at the pricing. It uses Bluetooth 5.0 for better range and faster connectivity, along with support for A2DP profiles. Airdopes 131 also supports instant voice-assistant. The voice support is the same as Apple’s Siri, Google Assistant.
The earphones feature ‘Insta Wake-n-Pair’ technology. This allows them to connect to a previously paired smartphone instantly when the lid of the charging case is opened. Further the Airdopes 131 is compatible with Android, Apple, and Windows devices.
It features USB Type-C charging. The carrying case also acts as a portable charging unit with an in-built battery. It comes with 650mAh battery capacity. The company claims battery life of up to three hours of playback time. In addition, four charges in the case. This suggests that the Airdopes 131 will have 12 hours more with the case. So, you can expect a total of up to 15 hours of use per charge cycle. Each earbud weighs a mere 3.5g.

The Boat Airdopes 131 is priced at Rs. 1,299. At the given price Airdopes 131 can compete with recent launches like the Redmi Earbuds S and Realme Buds Q. The Redmi Earbuds S is priced at Rs. 1,799 and Realme Buds Q at Rs. 1,999. The Boat Airdopes 131 is comparatively more affordable then the two. This can become an advantage for the company. Further when it comes to the design of the earphones, it resembles the recently launched OnePlus Buds. Boat also launched the Airdopes 441 for Rs. 2,499. It features IPX6 water resistance and better battery life.
The Boat Airdopes 131 will go on sale on Flipkart from August 22 at 12 PM.
