The Asus ZenFone 7 series has been spotted on the Geekbench listing and also a benchmarking platform bearing the model number I002D. The release date is official which was silently confirmed by Asus to come in the next week on August 26th at 11:30 AM IST (6AM GMT, 2AM ET).
The previous version of ZenFone, the Asus ZenFone 6 was amazing in terms of performance and especially the quality of camera, it debuted as the Asus 6Z in India at a much lower price compared to other flagship phones with similar features. The lesser price tag is one of the main reasons for the ZenFone 7 series to receive so much anticipation.
The company also implies that there will be more than one Device in the 7 series, one will be the normal variant and the other in a Pro Variant.

The listings strongly suggest that the phone will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC, by expecting the 865+ SoC on the Pro version that are paired with 8GB of RAM and upto 512GB in-built storage. The phone will be running on the Android 10 version out of the box.
There was no much information about the design but It is expected to feature a 6.7 inch display without any notch as the company will be retaining the flip camera from the Asus 6Z. The Connectivity options on the device are expected to include Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth v5, and NFC.
Other reports suggest that the phone will be fueled by a 5000mAh battery supporting 30W fast charging. These are the features and specifications of the phone leaked until now, we will have to get ourselves ready for the launch event on August 26th to know about all the confirmed specs.
They might be hosting simultaneous launches across the globe and in markets, including India as they did for the launch of Asus Rog Phone 3. The phone has received leaks suggesting the prices which are so much less compared to other Flagship smartphones in the market currently giving a tough competition to them, especially the OnePlus 8 and iPhone SE.
The ASUS Zenfone 7 will be priced at €549 which is around Rs.48,000 for the 8GB RAM + 256GB version. There will also be a 6GB RAM + 128GB version of the phone for €499 according to various leaks online. The phone is expected to launch in India with a different name like the previous version of smartphones, about which the company will be confirming in the launch event.
