Apple rolled out new iOS 14.2, iPadOS 14.2, watchOS 7.1, macOS 10.15.7, tvOS 14.2 software update

Renowned brand Apple comes up with new software updates for its iPhones and iPads. Along with that, updates for HomePod, tvOS, and laptops will be available. The released models received the updates for iOS 12.4.9, and now iPhones will get an update of iOS 14.2. They have received watchOS 7.1 update about Apple watches, and Catalina 10.15.7 gets received for macOS. HomePod and tvOS get the update of version 14.2.

The iOS and iPadOS updates that will launch will be available for iPhone 6s and the up models. iPod touches 7th generation, iPad Air 2 and plus, and iPad mini four and later will also receive the updates. iOS 14.2 update will bring you a fantastic list of emojis, which will have around 100 new ones launched. There will be around eight wallpapers released available in both the light and dark versions. Users will witness notifications for the headphone audio level. This will show the alerts when the volume could affect the hearing capacity. There will be some new AirPlay controls along with intercom support. The intercom support will work with HomePod and HomePod mini, and you will get the Homepod to connect with Apple TV 4K.

iOS 12.4.9 will bring some upgraded security updates to the older models that you use like iPhone 5s, iPhone 6 and 6 Plus, iPad Air, iPad mini 2 and 3, and more. Talking about the iPhone 12 series of pro and max also iPad Pro 12.9-inch (4th generation) and iPad Pro 11-inch’s (2nd generation) will now have a LiDAR sensor. It will also detect people near you, and iPhone 12 with MagSafe is available.

Auto FPS and Scene Detection will be provided via iPadOS 14.2, providing amazing video and camera quality. The watchOS 7.1 will bring ECG on Apple Watch Series 4 or higher models. HomePod and tvOS will update 14.2 to surround sound with Dolby Atmos. MacOS Catalina 10.15.7 will bring security updates having a memory corruption issue (CVE-2020-27930). It also includes a confusion issue (CVE-2020-27932) along with a memory initialization issue (CVE-2020-27950).
