On July 13th, 2021, i.e. Tuesday, Apple stunned its users by revealing a new MagSafe battery pack. The developers have incorporated the all-new battery pack with a battery of 1,460 mAh. To recharge the battery pack, the multinational firm recommends using a 27W or higher charger. The high-end electronic accessory is expected to go on sale soon at a price of Rs. 10,990.
Apple has bought this brand new iPhone accessory for iPhone 12 Mini, iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Pro, and iPhone 12 Pro Max devices. The accessory can be attached magnetically to the back of the iPhone. However, this is not the first power cell to use Apple’s new magnetic method, but it’s the first from Apple that can charge up to 15W while plugged into a 20W or higher charger. To be compatible with the battery pack models of iPhone 12 should be running on iOS 14.7.
Apple’s MagSafe Battery Pack has a voltage of 7.62 volts, which is nearly double that of competing batteries. Watt-hours (Wh) is a better statistic to grasp what Apple might provide in the electronic accessory. While using the battery pack iPhone could get somewhat warmer than usual, to prevent any damage and dilate the battery life software incorporated in the iPhone may limit charging above 80%. The battery pack is also incorporated with a charge management feature which will maintain the lifespan of the user’s iPhone’s battery. The mega corporate is still reticent in providing further specifications about the MegaSafe battery pack.
Recently, Apple had also revealed iOS 15 and iPadOS 15 at the WWDC 2021 Keynote conference. iOS 15 features a number of new characteristics such as FaceTime Share play, Live text, Offline Siri, Revamped notifications, Focus mode, and more. iOS 15 first beta has also been launched by the mega-firm. However, users need to have adequate space on their phones, as the iOS 15 beta has a size of 5GB.
