The current pandemic situation not only leads to changes in day to day life but also leads to a few changes in the tech world. There have been certain apps developed for making our life easy in this pandemic situation. One of them includes the Apple COVID-19 app, which got created in March of this year. The app is designed to detect the symptoms of the deadly virus, risk factors and much more. All the upgraded guidelines, including the newly launched one and incorporated in the application.
Apple’s cooperation with CDC and FEMA:
As in an effort to keep the Apple Covid-19 app up to date and up to the mark Apple combined with CDC. Along with that it cooperated with the Federal Emergency Management Agency to make the app efficient to answer all your questions along with the results known easily. Updated version 5.0 brings this developed screening process that will add new items to clarify your doubts.
Currently, the application is available only in the US and also comes with a website working with the same format as that of the app. To give you knowledge of how it works it has a set of questionnaires incorporated. It will let you know about the risks, or might let you understand about any symptoms of the virus if you have any.
Apple’s COVID-19, similar to Aarogya Setu:
The application, when compared to the Indian app developed by the government named Aarogya Setu, is highly similar. The screening process with the set of questions does not differ at a very high level. Talking about getting started with the questionnaire, you can simply access the updated screening process. Click on the Start Screening button present on your homepage itself. By following all the guidelines, Apple came up with the questions which are now widely accessed by many users out there. For Indians, it might take a bit to launch here. But for now, Aarogya Setu can be accessed as it highly resembles the application.
