Action role-playing video game Cyberpunk 2077 has finally arrived back in the PlayStation store. Earlier, the game was released in December last year but after some problems Sony had rolled back the game from its platform until the issues were fixed. Now after a few months the game has made a comeback with better updates and it is expected that to provide a more seamless experience, the game developers will roll out more fixtures and updates in the future.
As far as the game platform is concerned, players can play the game on both PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 Pro according to several reports. Although the game is available on PlayStation 4, Sony and experts have suggested the players to avoid playing the game on this platform as there is a great possibility that issues like glitches in gameplay and bugs may surface again as it was observed last year when the game was initially rolled out.
Even PlayStation has warned the users about this speculation and on its official Twitter handle @PlayStation wrote,” Cyberpunk 2077 is now available at PlayStation Store. Work on the PS4 version continues, with fixes and updates to be released throughout the year. For the best experience on PlayStation, playing on PS4 Pro or PS5 consoles is recommended.”
The Cyberpunk 2077 team through their official Twitter handle @CyberpunkGame said, “Cyberpunk 2077 is now back on the PlayStation Store. You can play the game on PlayStation 4 Pro and PlayStation 5. Additionally, a free next gen upgrade will be available for all owners of the PS4 version of Cyberpunk 2077 in the second half of 2021.” The brand further wrote, “Users may continue to experience some performance issues with the PS4 edition while we continue to improve stability across all platforms. The PS4 Pro and PS5 versions of the game will provide the best experience on PlayStation.”
These tweets indicate that the team is still working to improve the glitching issues on PlayStation 4 and it is likely that new updates will be launched in the upcoming future to fix the same. Interested players will be able to play the game at a price of $50 but it is to be noted that the PC version of the game would be made available at a lesser price due to a discount.
