Acer launched a new mid-range Swift 3 laptop in India. The laptop is light and thin, it also carries some amazing features in it. Acer Swift 3 is mainly suitable for users who are into video editing, Photoshop, gaming and such. The laptop has been tested rigorously for consistent and satisfying PC experience by Intel as it is built under the Intel’s Athena Project.
Acer Swift 3 is featherweight and weighs around 1.19kg. Even the bezels on the side are slimmed. This laptop also features a backlit keyboard, and I think it is very common nowadays.
This laptop has a 13.5 inch IPS LCD display with a 2K display(2256×1504 pixel) resolution with 3:2 aspect ratio featuring the Adobe sRGB color gamut and 400nits of brightness. The 2k display means that it can also support 4k resolution videos but obviously not that great in quality.
It has a 720p resolution web camera fixed in the narrow bezels for all the online video meetings,casual video chats and such in this quarantine period. It comes with the Windows 10 Home operating system which we have been using from a pretty long time, is smooth and good enough on a laptop. It comes with the Windows Hello face recognition feature for the face unlock.
The laptop is Powered by the 10th-Gen Intel Core i5-1035G4 processor paired with 8GB of LPDDR4 RAM and a 512GB PCIe Gen3 NVMe SSD with up to four lanes. The visuals are handled by the Intel Iris Plus Graphics technology. This will be great for normal gamers and definitely not for the heavy gamers.
It has a wide range of connectivity features like Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.0 and there are also multiple ports present on the Acer Swift 3 – a USB 3.1 Gen 1 port, USB-C port, a thunderbolt 3 port, a USB 2.0 port, an HDMI port, and a pogo-pin charging port. The built in speakers are the stereo speakers type.
About the battery back-up Acer claims that the Device lasts for about 17 hours with the 56Wh battery. The device can be charged using the 65W AC adapter that comes along with it.
The Acer Swift 3 SF313-52 is priced at Rs. 64,999 in India. There is only one variant and one color launched. The color will be silver and as specified before, Intel i5 processor with 8gb RAM and 512GB SSD storage.
It is now available via the company’s official India website and will also go on sale through leading retail stores and Acer exclusive stores.
