A global launch of the Realme GT 5G is scheduled for June 15

Realme is all prepared to make a new smartphone launch this month. The company recently announced the global launch of the Realme GT 5G flagship smartphone. The company is going to launch the Realme GT 5G on the 15th of June. The launch presentation will be live streaming on YouTube and will start at noon UTC time.

The phone was already launched in China back in March 2021. The new launch will probably be the same as no new upgrades have been introduced by the company yet. Realme has revealed the EU pricing of the smartphone, which is € 550 for the 12GB+256 GB model. Considering this, the handset will be among the cheapest Snapdragon 888 smartphones in Europe.

Considering the Realme GT 5G launched in China, the smartphone will consist of a 6.43-inch display. It will be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor, comes with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage and runs on Android 11 based Realme UI 2.0. It is backed up by a 4,500mAh battery with Type-C USB fast charging.

Talking about the image quality, the smartphone comes with an autofocus rear dual-camera setup consisting of a 64-MP primary and an 8-MP sensor with f/1.8 and f/2.3 aperture respectively, moreover it will have 16MP selfie camera.

In China, the Realme GT 5G was introduced in three colours, Silver, Blue, and Racing Yellow. Talking about the connectivity of Realme GT 5G, it comes with Wi-Fi 802.11 connection. Looking at the sensors, the smartphone consists of a Proximity sensor, Accelerometer, Ambient Light sensor and Gyroscope.

If we talk about the price, the handset was launched in China with a starting price of CNY2,799 (approx. Rs. 31,900) and the European pricing for the 12GB+256 GB model is about €550 (approx. Rs. 48,900). The price for the India launch is not revealed yet but we can expect it to be in the range of Rs. 35000 to 40000.
