A 120Hz Pro Motion display is reportedly being produced by Apple for the upcoming iPhone 13 Series

From the beginning of this year, we have been getting leaks regarding the upcoming iPhone 13. Previously, there were leaks regarding the processing chip, RAM and camera stabilizations and physical features. Now, there is a new rumour rolling out from different corners about the iPhone 13 series getting a display refresh rate of 120 Hz.

According to some reports, LG has started producing the (LTPS) TFT OLED panels for the models which would be used for making a display for the low-end iPhone devices i.e, iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 mini. But this is also expected to be used in the re-make editions of 2021 low-end iPhone devices i.e iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 mini.

Rather than this, we are also getting a piece of news about Samsung producing the displays for high-end 2021 iPhone devices i.e. iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max. But this is also expected to be used in the re-make editions of 2021 high-end iPhone devices i.e iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max. The display panels manufactured by Samsung are predicted to provide the ProMotion ability that we have seen in the iPad Pro.

This shows that their refresh rates would be upgraded to 120Hz and this depends on the situation of the user. 120 Hz refresh rate would provide an amazing experience to gamers and movie lovers. This would provide a good resolution and the screen refresh would be like a liquid and would be silky. The gamers would experience very smooth gameplay as compared to the older versions of the iPhone. This upgrade is strongly expected from Apple as it is popular for bringing new upgrades every year.

Some popular resources like MacRumors claim that the production unit of this edition of the device is ahead in comparison to the iPhone 12. This tells us that we are expected to see the all-new iPhone 13 series in September, as earlier. Last year, due to a pandemic, we saw the launch of the iPhone 12 series a bit late but this year it won’t happen as before. Instead this would be launched in September as it was done before with the 11 series and all the predecessors.

The iPhone would still be the king in terms of software and now improving the display would add wonders to its physical features. Till now, this is all that we have with us about the refresh rate of the iPhone 13. We will surely inform you as soon as we get more details.
